STIHIE: The Republican Woman of the Future

Here’s a cheerful reminder that even young Republican women buy the new morality the system promotes.

Here’s a cheerful reminder that even young Republican women buy the new morality the system promotes–and have no problem calling it conservative feminism:

There’s a new woman in town. She’s not shy, she’s not timid, and she’s not afraid. She’s not naive, nor is she lost or floundering. She’s not meek. She’s not quiet. She’s not passive. She’s self-assured, self-aware, and, yes, maybe she’s even a little bit selfish. She is here, she is present, and she is not going anywhere…

Whereas her very aura once showed of a life of privilege and luxury, she now cannot be pegged. Her background, her history, her ancestors are, quite literally, now all over the map. Now, her skin color cannot be identified, cannot be categorized, cannot be placed. Her hair, it flows in all different textures and colors, in braids and scarves and beachy waves. She forgoes ash blonde for whatever God or Allah or Oprah gave her and traded in Talbot sweater sets for blue jeans. She got rid of her pantyhose completely. Her wardrobe is a strange combination of J.Crew, Target, and those adorable little boutiques that are sending her into the same very debt she watches Sean Hannity discuss every night on Fox News.

She grew up with the belief that she could be anything she wanted to be. She was the princess and the astronaut and the stay at home mom. Her father went to work in a tailored suit and her mother served dinner at 6:30pm every night on the dot. Her parents were happy. Maybe they still are. Still, she dreamed of a life where she didn’t have to choose, a life that allowed her to have it all. So, she set out to make it happen. She went to college and she worked hard and she played hard, too. She joined clubs and kissed boys danced on tables at frat parties. She skipped class and made bad choices and she really lived life. She didn’t sit on the sidelines. She didn’t watch from afar. She didn’t let it pass her by.

She wants babies some day, but doesn’t want to have to give up her coveted job in the coveted city at the coveted startup — where she makes seventy-seven cents to every dollar her male counterparts make. Something, by the way, that she never believed was true until she started working and saw the men get raises and the women get sexually harassed. The gender discrimination and inequality and downright misogyny was shown to her on her very first day of work….

She enjoys a good cocktail every once in a while — or maybe every day – and she might even have an unprescribed bottle of Xanax in her medicine cabinet. She is, after all, in full support of the legalization of marijuana. Perhaps she has a bowl on her dresser. Maybe she just smokes cigarettes. Or maybe, just maybe, she thinks that what she does in her free time is none of your damn business. She likely supported Ron Paul at one point or another and thinks that so long as the Tea Party has a voice, the true Republican Party never will.

She’s had enough one night stands to know that’s not what she really wants out of life…but put enough tequila in her and she’ll reconsider. She carries condoms in her purse because she learned at a young age that you are your own responsibility. No one will save you. Besides, she doesn’t need a knight in shining armor; she can save herself. She’s been on the pill since she was sixteen, she also probably received the HPV vaccine — against her mother’s will, of course. She doesn’t expect the government to pay for her birth control. She does, however, expect that her job provide her with health insurance that does, or pay her enough to find an outside policy.

She’s not afraid to talk social issues. Find this new woman and you’ll learn that she has quite a few gay, lesbian, and/or transgender friends. Maybe she is one, herself. She supports gay marriage out of principle and also because she thinks everyone deserves to be happy. Separation of church and state, right? Then let’s freaking separate church and state. She wants God left out of government and government left out of God. She’d like for people to stop being shamed for their beliefs. She’d also like for women to stop being shamed for their bodies. Having the freedom to do what they’d like in regard to their own medical decisions would be nice, too. She knows that the “A” word makes people uncomfortable. She also knows people who have had one. Maybe she’s even had one, herself.

She wants a person in office who represents her, someone who understands that young women are watching, young women are listening, and young women are voting. This young woman, she wants, no, rather, she needs someone — a national figure — who understands that times, they are a-changing. Backwoods, backwards ideals don’t cut it with us. This woman is proactive, she’s progressive, and she’s sick of feeling forgotten.

If this is any indicator, it looks like Republican women are as insufferably leftist as the Jezebel crowd.

STIHIE: ManServants

Have you ever thought that the problem with the average American woman is that she doesn’t get to feel like an entitled queen enough?

Have you ever thought that the problem with the average American woman is that she doesn’t get to feel like an entitled queen enough?

Well, one startup hopes to correct that issue ASAP! Introducing ManServants:

The company, appropriately called ManServants, states that their vision is “to empower women to make their own rules. Rules a ManServant may then follow.” The idea is that instead of hiring creepy strippers for their bachelorette parties, women can hire gorgeous models to do the things they actually desire: hold their umbrellas, serve them Champagne by the pool, massage their bodies with their sexy model hands and even snap selfies for them (which in the old days was called “taking a picture”).

According to the website, each Manservant is customizable, just like a Build-A-Bear! Customers can tell the company what they want their Manservant to look like, what he should wear, how he should behave and even give him a new name (the site suggests “Garçon, Bartholomew, or Ryan Gosling.”)

But what are some of the things that these ManServants will do?

The men for hire go through “a very rigorous training process,” co-founder Dalal Khajah told Mashable, and they can be hired to do whatever the client wants. During the testing phase of the service, one woman wanted a sassy gay friend to give her relationship advice. Another wanted her man to serve her food while singing songs from The Little Mermaid.

The singing will cost you extra – according to ManServants’ website, the standard services include waiting on you hand and foot, serving drinks, acting as a body guard, taking photos, giving compliments, and “[cleaning] up your hot mess.” For an additional fee, you can get your ManServant to do things like speak in an accent, or give you a spa day complete with cucumber water and chocolate covered strawberries…

But one thing the men won’t do is fulfill fantasies that are less innocent than say, singing “Under the Sea.” In the ManServants code of conduct it says, “A ManServant keeps his penis in his pants and out of the lady’s face.” Chivalry isn’t dead!

STIHIE: Free Beer for Latino Heritage

Isn’t corporate advertising great?

Earlier this year, Budweiser sponsored the rollout of the film Cesar Chavez (yes, really) and decided to reward Latino audience members at one showing for their special, Latino heritage – with a free beer. And only the audience members who understood Spanish would be able to get a Bud. This apparently makes for good advertising.

Watch as we’re all supposed to laugh at the gringos for sitting in ignorance while the Hispanics have all the fun outside. It appears Budweiser knows where the demographics are heading and knows Whites aren’t the future in this bizarre ad.

Isn’t corporate advertising great?

STIHIE: ‘My Dad and My Husband are Becoming Women’

Life is depressingly starting to resemble a Farrelly brothers comedy.

Life is depressingly starting to resemble a Farrelly brothers comedy–minus the intention of humor:

They say every woman marries a man like her father.

But for Lleahan Perry that proved particularly true… because her dad and her husband are both having sex change operations.

Lleahan was 15 when stepfather Stephen confessed he liked cross-dressing.

Three years later the ex-sailor started living as a woman, taking hormones and calling himself Helen.

Supportive Lleahan welcomed the change – pleased her dad was no longer living a lie.

But months later she was stunned when fiancé Christopher Parent revealed he also wanted to live as a woman.

In a three-hour heart-to-heart, Lleahan’s dad helped 22-year-old Christopher come to terms with his feelings.

now Christopher, called ChiChi by the family, and Helen are both planning to go through gender reassignment surgery.

But before having the op, Lleahan, 21, and ChiChi decided to marry. They tied the knot at a ceremony in France this month and are expecting their first baby in November.

STIHIE: The Criminal Heartthrob of the Future

This is the new face of crime in America–and women love it unfortunately.

This is the new face of crime in America–and women love it unfortunately.

If you can tell what race the man in the mughshot, Jeremy Meeks, is, you should win some sort of prize. Or you probably shouldn’t.

His lack of any racial identity is incredibly offputting and his face would’ve fit perfectly in National Geographic’s alien faces of Monoculture special.

He’s got blue eyes, but brownish skin. Some of his facial features are White, some of them seem Black (the teardrop murder tattoo right under his eye shows off his Black side).

While female desire for criminal sociopaths is no new phenomenon, the more troubling fact is that so many White women fell for the looks of a criminal super Mulatto.

Meeks was arrested on felony weapons charges and has admitted his teardrop tattoo was probably received for committing a murder.

Whatever his actual race, he unsurprisingly has a blonde-haired wife.

So this is how it ends indeed.

STIHIE: Gay Love Travels in the Name of Consumerism

Marriott is going all out for its new LGBT marketing campaign #Love Travels to show that even international hotel chains care about promoting the new morality.

Marriott is going all out for its new LGBT marketing campaign #Love Travels to show that even international hotel chains care about promoting the new morality.

We’re just going to let this article on the campaign speak for itself:

The social, print, out-of-home and digital effort — themed #LoveTravels — focuses on self-identity, pride, love of travel, sense of home and comfort, and Marriott properties as the place to experience all of it.

The effort involves a partnership with photographer Braden Summers, and features his portraits both of well-known gay and transgender Americans and regular real-life couples.

In the former category are Jason Collins, professional basketball player who came out last year, thus becoming the first out pro athlete in one of the four major sports; Geena Rocero, a transgender Filipina fashion model and social advocate who made waves revealing her birth gender and speaking out at events like TED; and Talisha Padgett-Matthews, a Marriott associate. The photos also feature several premiere Marriott hotel properties in New York and Miami.

“We wanted to make a bold statement,” says Kristine Friend, senior director, segment marketing at Marriott International. “We are tripling the investment. In the past, for example, we hadn’t done any mobile or tablet advertising, and we also hadn’t had this degree of print or display advertising. And we’re doing a ton of out-of-home.”

Friend tells Marketing Daily that the program, running through Nov. 30 with digital running through year’s end, reflects what’s happening demographically and socially.

“We are increasing our commitment to reflect what the world looks like,” she says. “We wanted to do something different to illustrate a wider sense of belonging.”

“Young Urban Male,” or “Yummy” is a label christened by a recent report from HSBC to describe a new breed of Yuppy: unmarried, status and grooming obsessed, and rich.

“Young Urban Male,” or “Yummy” is a label christened by a recent report from HSBC to describe a new breed of Yuppy: unmarried, status and grooming obsessed, and rich.

Although superficially the news sounds like a bad sociology paper, there is (unfortunately) something to it.

Both couture and cosmetic companies are shifting marketing gears away from old women with too much credit to these Yummies with too little confidence. The report notes, “The metro-sexual, that cliché from 20 years ago, is now becoming a commercial reality.”

So much for hoping materialism would take a dive when the Boomers died…

STIHIE: Postmodern Debating

What’s happening in college debate is insane.

What’s happening in college debate is insane. Judging by the recent flare up surrounding black debators hijacking the events to become two hours of blasting white privilege, it seems oration has now become how many postmodern buzz words can you say in three minutes.

Take a look at this example from this all-black, female debate team that went on to win this specific competition:

And it’s not just blacks who are doing it. White liberals are also cashing in on the trend and reaping the same rewards:

Putting aside ideology, how could any serious person think these hyperactive college students are learning the art of persuasion and argumentation?

But these young fools aren’t really our enemies–they’re merely tools used by larger forces pursuing the destruction of our civilization.

STIHIE: Cambridge Grad Stands By Jamaican Rapist Husband

An elite education certainly does not buy common sense as the tale of this one Cambridge University graduate shows.

An elite education certainly does not buy common sense as the tale of this one Cambridge University graduate shows:

A Cambridge University graduate has defended her sex predator husband who told his victim he was raping her because ‘he didn’t get sex from his wife’.

Adriana Ford-Thompson, a York University research and teaching fellow, described her 37-year-old husband Mark Thompson – branded a danger to women by the judge – as ‘gentle, kind and sensitive’.

The environmentalist said the jury had ‘taken my husband away from me’ by finding him guilty, before he was given life in jail for the kidnap and rape of a student and sex attacks on three other women…

Here’s the background on how the couple met and how he viciously attacked the student he was convicted of raping:

Thompson moved from Jamaica to London at the age of 16, where he took up boxing, before heading to Tanzania in 2005 to teach martial arts.

He met his wife while she was over there conducting research and in 2007 moved to York to be with her while she finished her PhD. They married in 2009.

The jury which convicted Thompson heard he put the student in a headlock and dragged her to his van which he had parked around the corner.

He told the terrified young woman: ‘You have two options – you can give me what I want and you tell nobody what has happened, or tonight is the night you die.’

Read more of this story at The Daily Mail if you are so brave.

Oh, and here’s a picture of the happy couple together on their wedding day.

As Gregory Hood wrote, “Marriage is Dead, Long live Marriage.” Once again, this is another example of the insidiousness of interracial marriage and how it has to require a mentally ill mind, like this woman has, to justify and rationalize it. Let’s hope she doesn’t remarry.
